Job Opportunity: Assistant Service Manager - West Shrewsbury

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team in West Shrewsbury. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding levels of care to individuals with mental health needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing varying levels of assistance and opportunities to learn new life skills. You will be responsible for assisting the Service Manager in delivering high-quality care, ensuring the well-being and safety of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Service Manager in delivering outstanding levels of care to individuals with mental health needs.
  • Provide varying levels of assistance and opportunities to learn new life skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the well-being and safety of our service users.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, providing support and guidance to the team as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of our service users.
Requirements
  • UK Manual Driving Licence essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
  • Previous experience working in Adult Social Care in a leadership role.
  • Experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
  • Confident in IT and using different systems.
  • Experience working with a Positive Behaviour Support Team.
  • Adaptable and able to work flexibly.
  • Able to take their turn on the on-call rota.
  • Available to work shifts as well as manage their own work when on admin duties.
