Quality Assurance Specialist

Rise Resourcing is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems and standards, directing and coordinating the company's quality control system, and ensuring that all products delivered meet the design intent and quality levels required. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge base of ISO9000 and ISO14000, including implementation and maintenance of either or both. Additionally, they will have a strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD, as well as experience with Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Lean Manufacturing techniques. A relevant Quality Management, Manufacturing, or Engineering related degree is preferred, or equivalent Electronics Degree. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting vendor facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures. They will also be responsible for compiling, feedback, and working with each supplier to address ongoing quality issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
