Senior Tax Manager Job Opportunity

Public Practice Recruitment Ltd is seeking an exceptional Senior Tax Manager to lead their tax department in Wigan. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a senior tax role, managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met.

This role offers a high degree of flexibility and the possibility for hybrid or remote working. The successful candidate will be CTA and/or ACCA/ACA/CA qualified and have strong personal tax advisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and review personal and corporate tax returns
  • Ensure client assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with the wider tax team, utilising resource effectively to maximise client service
  • Provide high-level tax compliance and tax advisory services to clients
  • Research specialist tax issues and formulate solutions
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring awareness of their requirements
  • Recognise and respond to clients' business needs, providing quality tax advice

Requirements

  • CTA and/or ACCA/ACA/CA qualified
  • Several years of experience in a senior tax role
  • Strong personal tax advisory experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the wider tax team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
