Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding office in Hertfordshire.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering to develop their skills in building services design engineering.

As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a wide range of projects, including pharmaceutical, residential, retail, leisure, and office sectors.

Our company has a strong reputation for developing engineers and offers a supportive structure that balances responsibility with ample guidance.

Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (preferably with an electrical bias)
  • Understanding of building services design engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD software, with desirable experience in Dialux, Relux, or Amtech
  • Ideally a graduate member of an appropriate institution, with ambitions to work towards Chartered Engineer status
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Local to the office with a Full UK Driver's License preferred
