Are you a skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity?

U-Educate is currently in search of a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a unique educational environment. This position is part-time and permanent.

Role Overview

  • Oversee students individually or in small groups
  • Deliver tailored educational support as required
  • Assistance may include personal care responsibilities
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
  • Encourage and motivate students to engage with their assigned tasks
  • Ensure students remain focused and achieve their learning objectives
  • Provide constructive feedback to educators regarding student progress
  • Implement individual Educational, Social, Behavioral, and Personal Care Plans
  • Attend to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an educational setting assisting students with SEN
  • Possession of Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certification
  • Experience with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and SEMH
  • Ability to successfully complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for child-related work
  • Current Safeguarding Training (available through U-Educate if not completed within the last year)
