Position Overview
The Senior Tax Consultant role at Rosekirk LLP offers a pathway to advancement for qualified candidates. We seek individuals with extensive knowledge in UK private client and expatriate taxation, alongside exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert tax advice on UK income tax, employment taxes, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts.
- Engage in ongoing training to gain proficiency in the Australian tax system, with support from experienced team members.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while reviewing UK personal tax returns.
- Assist in mentoring junior staff in the preparation of UK tax returns.
- Participate actively in the firm’s business development and cultural initiatives.
Qualifications
Academic Background
We are looking for candidates with recognized UK tax qualifications such as CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA, preferably with a degree.
Professional Experience
A minimum of 5 years in a UK Chartered Firm or similar environment is required, with a strong focus on UK personal tax returns. While prior Australian tax experience is not mandatory, those with such experience will be preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software, particularly Digita Personal Tax Software and XPM, is essential.
