We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childrens Residential Support Worker to join our team at ZG Recruitment.
About the Role:This is a permanent position offering flexible bank work, providing a work-life balance for those who cannot commit to a full-time rota. The successful candidate will work with a large children's charity, supporting children with various care needs, including mother and baby units, residential homes, and well-being homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality support to children in residential care, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure the safety and safeguarding of children at all times, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Valid driving license and access to a car.
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People (or willingness to complete within a specified timeframe).
- Experience working with children and young people (not necessarily in an employment capacity).
- Awareness of factors impacting vulnerable children and young people (training will be provided).
