Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at Finning International. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for providing expert repair and maintenance services to our customers' heavy equipment and machinery.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of construction and static machines. You will be required to diagnose and repair equipment problems, provide comprehensive details to customers and Finning, and work efficiently to meet customer needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair equipment problems using specialized tools and equipment
  • Provide comprehensive details to customers and Finning on the nature of the problem and the work required
  • Identify and requisition parts required for repairs, and determine expected delivery times
  • Undertake repair and service work on equipment to agreed work plans, removing and despatching components for specialist attention
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenance, with experience working on construction and static machines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with ability to work in high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze and resolve complex equipment problems
