To bolster our growth and commitment to sustainability, we are seeking to enroll two trainees in a three-year Modern Apprenticeship program through Caleg Cambria. This initiative offers a remarkable opportunity to gain comprehensive skills in welding and fabrication. Trainees will acquire hands-on experience at our advanced manufacturing facility while pursuing NVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations and NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding Engineering. The apprenticeship involves mastering fabrication and welding techniques at various stages of production to create piping supports and systems that meet stringent standards.

The role demands meticulous attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, manual dexterity, strict adherence to health, safety, and quality protocols, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while meeting production targets. Upon completion, trainees will emerge as skilled professionals in Welding and Fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

● Comprehend and comply with all Health and Safety regulations.

● Execute the production of superior quality fabrications and welds in line with established Standard Operating Procedures.

● Assist the Production team in all facets of plant maintenance, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance and operational records.

● Maintain a clean and safe working environment to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

● Minimum GCSE in Maths and English at grade C or above (Grade 4 in England)

● Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations NVQ (Desirable).

● Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

● Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

● Self-driven and motivated.

● High enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.

● Proficient in computer applications.
