Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Excel Engineering Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair work on a wide range of commercial gas appliances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM schedules and meet set KPI targets on commercial sites, including communal living, student accommodation, care homes, and other commercial properties.
  • Work on a 24-hour rota for emergency call-outs, with standby allowance paid and overtime rates applying.
  • Perform maintenance and repair work on commercial boilers, burners, oil, chillers, and air conditioning systems.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring long-term contracts and security.
Requirements
  • Recognized industry qualifications, including Gas Safe and ACS commercial gas.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas appliances.
  • Previous experience working on commercial gas maintenance contracts is advantageous.
  • Motivated and trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic.
