We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Locum Pharmacist to join a busy hospital team in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist with strong ward and hospital experience to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in both inpatient wards and outpatient settings
  • Conduct medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and oversee the dispensing and administration of medications
  • Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care
  • Advise on appropriate treatment regimes, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory and hospital guidelines
  • Provide clinical input on complex patient cases and ensure continuity of care during hospital stays
Requirements:
  • Must have at least 2 years of ward and hospital experience as a pharmacist
  • GPhC registration is essential
  • Strong understanding of clinical pharmacy in a hospital setting, including medicines management and patient safety practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced hospital environment
