We are collaborating with a prominent NHS Trust seeking an Interim Senior Transformation Manager for a Fixed Term Contract role lasting between 4-6 months.
This position is classified at AfC Band 8b/8c, contingent on experience, and offers a hybrid working model that combines both onsite and remote responsibilities.
The Trust is committed to an ambitious transformation agenda and is in search of a highly skilled and credible leader in transformation.
The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing a diverse array of programs aimed at enhancing service delivery, achieving financial efficiencies, and promoting continuous improvements in quality and safety.
The role requires adept management of multiple programs concurrently, engaging various stakeholders within the Trust and across the broader Integrated Care Systems to facilitate system-wide transformations in care pathways.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in building positive relationships while demonstrating tenacity and organizational skills to prioritize the transformation agenda, drive the achievement of desired outcomes, and ensure active participation from key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and establish program goals, objectives, and success metrics;
- Develop and execute a comprehensive program roadmap, inclusive of timelines, milestones, and resource allocation;
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Trust's strategic vision and objectives;
- Implement effective governance structures to monitor program progress, manage risks, and facilitate timely decision-making;
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and service optimization to improve efficiency and effectiveness;
- Drive the achievement of program objectives while adhering to quality and safety standards within agreed timeframes and budgets;
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, including the Executive Board and Senior Leadership teams;
- Develop and implement engaging change management strategies to foster enthusiasm and smooth transitions during program execution;
- Lead the Trust's Continuous Quality Improvement team, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement and best practice implementation;
- Manage a team of direct and indirect resources across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective project and program management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in a similar role, with a focus on major transformational change programs;
- Prince2 or equivalent project/program management certification;
- Extensive experience in leading remote and virtual program teams, with a strong background in establishing teams and new operational methodologies;
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to motivate stakeholders and make high-level decisions;
- In-depth expertise gained through substantial experience in senior roles managing multiple programs or change initiatives;
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in healthcare or commercial sectors.
