Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced E-Commerce Lead to contribute to our vision by leading and directing the strategic planning and implementation of sales, marketing, and business support activities for major e-commerce customers. This role will involve cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and employing superior account management skills to ensure sales targets are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and contribute to individual and national sales targets
  • Plan and establish major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of Elanco products
  • Contribute to the company's strategic goals direction and monitor and report on designated Retail and Ecom account business performance
  • Develop and manage corporate account business plans and work closely with retail Brand Managers and Shopper Marketer to develop and implement customer plans
  • Establish and build strong client relationships and effectively use digital and virtual technology to increase customer interactions and personal productivity
  • Manage and negotiate key account terms and rebate structures, monitor and control key account OpEx budgets, and provide clear intelligence on competitor sales activity

Requirements

  • Team leadership abilities to inspire and motivate
  • Successful track record in e-Commerce
  • Degree or equivalent in sales/marketing/business/life sciences
  • Intermediate IT skills, especially Microsoft programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the Animal Health industry
  • NOAH Certificate of Animal Health qualification
  • Demonstrated and strong commercial business acumen and results-driven
  • Ability to converse effectively at all levels of a customer organization
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal
