Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Women's Wear Design Lead to join our team. As a Women's Wear Design Lead, you will be responsible for designing jersey product for a well-established supplier in Central London. You will work closely with the factories to action samples and manage the manufacturing process, following the customers' seasonal calendars in line with the critical path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design jersey product for Women's Wear and some Girl's Wear
  • Provide specifications for the factories
  • Work closely with the factories to action samples and manage the manufacturing process
  • Follow the customers' seasonal calendars in line with the critical path
  • Create CAD presentations showcasing designs for use with buyers
  • Attend presentations at key accounts

Requirements:

  • Recent track record designing Women's Wear jersey
  • Experience working with high street suppliers or retailers/supermarkets
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Women's Wear high street trend aware
  • Able to understand deadlines and be open to commitment on them
  • Eligible to work in the UK
