Your New Role
We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate who will manage statutory audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of limited companies and charitable organizations, taking ownership of the audit files before they are reviewed by the Director.

This position is ideal for an experienced Audit Senior looking for a fresh challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole proprietors.
  • Conduct audits in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), including on-site client visits.
  • Engage with clients to ensure financial statements adhere to accounting standards.
  • Prepare corporation tax computations, including detailed analysis of tax-related items.
  • Facilitate the development of junior staff by identifying and addressing knowledge gaps.
  • Collaborate directly with Client Managers and Directors, contributing technical expertise.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Essential: Qualified Accountant with audit and financial statement preparation experience.
  • Essential: Prior experience in a practice setting.
  • Desirable: Experience in a corporate environment.
  • Essential: Familiarity with UK company audits.

Additionally, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive attitude towards enhancing services and sharing knowledge. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with clients. You should be highly organized, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines, and able to thrive under pressure while working effectively as part of a team.
