Design Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Design Manager to join our team on a portfolio of projects in the Oxford area. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all design information is reviewed and delivered in line with our design management procedures for completeness and compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production, control, and distribution of design information at different project stages
  • Ensure regular progress reporting of the design is in place
  • Support our consultant teams to maximise their effectiveness and value optimisation in the provision of effective integrated design solutions
  • Review design delivery to enhance quality of solutions and efficiency of design, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and handover of total engineering excellent solutions
  • Create and own the design brief, including design optimisation, design for manufacture and assembly, and design compliance
Requirements
  • First degree in Architecture
  • Other appropriate construction-related qualifications plus design-related experience
