Role:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Auxtronic, a leading manufacturer of snack and confectionary products. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our high-speed, fully automated bakery in Wigston.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks to maintain equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance (PPM) to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Provide breakdown support to ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment-related issues and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance, ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship.
  • 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a proven ability to fault-find and repair complex machinery.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £46,000 per annum, plus a £2,500 annual bonus paid in April.
