The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Distribution Manager to join our team at our Torr Works site. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of 5.5 million tonnes of product from site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the inspection and maintenance schedules for 14 miles of rail track onsite
  • Oversee the haulage of product by rail and road, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Direct management responsibility for a team of 16 members across the Weighbridge and rail department
  • Liaise with 3rd party logistics hauliers to optimize supply chain efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in rail compliance and logistics management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
