About the Role

As a Night Shift Supervisor at AO, you will play a vital part in the operation and customer journey by taking ownership of our warehouse team's performance. You will report directly to our Depot Manager and be responsible for managing our warehouse team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate and supervise daily tasks, briefing the team on priorities and objectives.
  • Be accountable for any issues that arise and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by our operatives and manage Team Leaders to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Ensure all products are handled correctly and in accordance with manual handling guidelines.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Investigate and rectify operational errors, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Motivate and encourage the team to achieve their best performance.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including completing handovers to the day team.
  • Support the management team with HR functions, such as disciplinary meetings, in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Plan shifts, allocate resources, and monitor workloads to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
