About the Role

Tann Law Solicitors Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Immigration Caseworker/Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our immigration department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation to clients in complex immigration cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting immigration cases with a high level of competence and attention to detail.
  • Providing expert advice and representation to clients in court and at detention centers.
  • Assessing clients' financial means and explaining public funding or private terms and conditions.
  • Drafting and dictating correspondence to clients, courts, solicitors, counsel, and other third-parties.
  • Instructing counsel, experts, solicitor advocates, or other third-parties, reviewing reports, and maintaining liaison as required.
  • Arranging hearings and conferences, and ensuring efficient day-to-day progress of all matters.
  • Complying with the firm's policies and procedures, and ensuring that all work carried out meets or exceeds the requirements of the LAA's Standard Contract, the SRA Code of Conduct, and meets Quality Mark standards.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with 1 year PQE.
  • Completed LPC.
  • Immigration and asylum experience, preferably as a Senior Caseworker or above.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
