We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team at People Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating metal saws to cut and process materials to exact specifications.

• Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
• Check materials for length, width, thickness, spec, alloy, grain direction, and lot number before cutting
• Verify parts are within customer required tolerances using tape, micrometer, and caliper instruments
• Program saws for cutting operations and perform daily maintenance checks
• Operate fork trucks and jib cranes when required, and perform daily safety checks
• Maintain quality standards throughout the operational process and assist in process improvements
• Manual lifting up to 20kgs and ensure productivity sheets are completed each day

• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, division, common fractions, and decimals
• Experience operating machinery and metal processing
• Knowledge of a production facility and manufacturing processes
• Health and safety awareness and experience

• Experience working in a similar role
• Knowledge of the metal industry
• Experience using stelplan
