About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Electrician to join our Property Maintenance team in the Midlands area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients and specialist subcontractors to establish strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Manage and coordinate facilities management subcontractors, as required.
  • Review, implement, and complete relevant Health and Safety documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and contractor inductions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Be appointed as Authorized Person for relevant duties, such as LV electrical, mechanical, and working at heights.
  • Carry out small repairs and maintenance across trades, including plumbing and ground maintenance.
  • Manage the issue and completion of pre-planned maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion and statutory compliance.
  • Induct and coordinate subcontractors during facilities management operations to deliver planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Prepare and review RAMS to ensure suitability.
  • Maintain essential spares and stocks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Complete tasks in line with instruction sets, SLAs, and agreed working procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in the FM industry.
  • Electrical City and Guilds 2391 Electrical testing and inspection to 18th Edition.
  • NVQ Level 3 plus City and Guilds 2360 parts 1 and 2.
  • Completed recognized apprenticeship and hold current grade card.
  • IT Literate to complete company documents, such as maintenance reports.
  • Provide feedback to company management.
  • Provide a high standard of work.
  • Good background in servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding.
  • Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation, including SMSTS or similar.
  • Possesses full UK driving license.
  • Ability to manage diverse work and associated supply chain activities.
