Warehouse Operative

Meriden Media is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Kidderminster. This role will begin as a temporary position for three weeks, with the possibility of extending to a permanent contract based on performance and business needs. The successful candidate MUST hold a valid Forklift license.
Key Responsibilities:- Goods Receipt and Storage: Receive and store goods, including loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Forklift Safety: Conduct regular Forklift safety checks to maintain a safe working environment.
- Picking and Preparation: Pick and prepare kits for installation teams, adhering to quality and productivity standards.
- Stock Control: Participate in weekly and monthly stocktakes, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and presentable warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar warehouse role, with a strong understanding of inventory management and Forklift operations.
- Qualifications: Qualified and experienced in operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility: Flexibility with working hours, including potential overtime, to meet business needs.
