Position Overview

The Digital Services Support Analyst will deliver a proactive Digital service to both new and existing users of healthcare systems within NHS Lanarkshire. This role encompasses support for third-party contractors providing healthcare services within the NHS Lanarkshire boundaries, including GP Practices, Dental Practices, Opticians, Pharmacies, and other healthcare entities.

The individual in this position will assist in the enhancement of existing and new systems across various services supported by Digital Services. The goal is to optimize both service user experience and patient care. This role includes analyzing ongoing training needs for each supported service and translating these needs into structured training plans, collaborating with IT trainers as necessary to facilitate effective training sessions. Additionally, the analyst will provide ad-hoc guidance on the use of supported Digital systems and services, offering general support and advice regarding these systems.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree or equivalent nursing qualification, or substantial relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in a clinical or comparable health service environment.

  • Strong professional presentation and communication skills.
  • Relevant expertise or an accredited training qualification in at least one specialized system or product, ideally clinical in nature.
