Position: Security Officer

Hours: Full-time, 56 hours per week

Shift Patterns: 3 days, 3 nights, and 3 off

Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links required

Requirements: Valid SIA license and CCTV license are mandatory

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will encompass:

  • Preventing and deterring unauthorized access to the premises.
  • Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems as necessary.
  • Conducting both external and internal security patrols.
  • Managing keys and executing locking and unlocking tasks.
  • Maintaining all logbooks and records accurately.
  • Documenting and reporting any faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices to management.
Essential Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid SIA license.
  • Experience in the security sector.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with a five-year checkable history.
  • Ability to arrive on time for shifts (reasonable commute).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective team player with good communication abilities.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
