Job Title: Backend PHP Web Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend PHP Web Developer to join our team at Oho Group. As a Backend PHP Web Developer, you will be responsible for working on existing and new projects on our e-commerce store, writing and supporting APIs, maintenance and development of new websites and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using PHP and relational databases (MySQL)
  • Develop and support APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a development role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent knowledge of PHP (PHP7) and relational databases (MySQL)
  • Experience with building APIs, JSON, and JSON Schema
  • Some knowledge of JavaScript (Vue.js, Angular.js, React.js)
  • Some knowledge of Linux/Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)
  • Some knowledge of Unit Testing (PHPUnit)
  • Degree-educated (preferred)
