Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant with German language proficiency to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial accounts and closing in SAP, coordinating with the local Managing Director and team, and posting for AP, AR, FA, and VAT/Intrastat on entity and group level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial accounts and closing in SAP (R/3, S/4)
  • Coordinate with the local Managing Director and team where necessary
  • Post for AP, AR, FA, and VAT/Intrastat on entity and group level
  • Payroll reconciliation
  • Prepare group financial reporting package in IDL incl. relevant notes as per the group accounting manual (IFRS similar)
  • Prepare local GAP financial statements incl. relevant notes as required
  • Continuous review of legal entities' accounts, ensuring that the group accounting manual is correctly and consistently applied
  • Contact for local and group auditors
  • Prepare analysis and reviews for management
  • Intercompany recharges and correct posting of consolidation relevant entries and intercompany reconciliation
  • Support and act as backup for Sr. Manager Group Reporting & Consolidation in preparing the entire consolidated group financials package
  • Key user for SAP FI as Technical Accountant
Requirements
  • Professional training in accounting with additional certification
  • 5 years of recent experience in accounting as single accountant, applying different accounting standards in parallel
  • 5 years of recent experience with SAP, nice to have IDL on top
  • Good experience working with IT, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Languages: English (full fluency), German (fluency nice to have)
  • Very strong skills regarding managing processes, data analytics, communication, and change management. Reliable, structured, and efficient
