Adoptions Engineer

TSR Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Adoptions Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Appointment of contractors for small works, monitoring progress, inspecting works, and ensuring completion of work to agreed Local Authority Standards.
• Site inspections of the condition of infrastructure at the end of the maintenance period and specifying all works required to achieve public adoption, including management companies.
• Monitoring all adoption Section Agreements (Section 38 & 278 Agreements) to ensure reduction and cancellation of associated bonds.
• Liaising with the Local Authority, Bondsman, and company Solicitors and Management Companies.
• Resolving issues arising from completed sites, ensuring compliance with all title deeds, maintenance bonds, and other legal requirements to minimize liability to the company.
• Providing engineering support to EM + PMs, including assistance with technical reports for land appraisals.
• Briefing and commissioning topo surveys, utility surveys, road safety audits, ROSPA reports, GI's, and as-built surveys.
• Reviewing engineering designs to ensure cost-effectiveness and buildability.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in infrastructure adoption and engineering support.
• Strong technical knowledge and skills in engineering design and project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
