About the Role

Career Teachers is seeking an experienced and qualified Year 6 Teacher for a fantastic Primary School in Wandsworth, South London. This is a fantastic school rated "Good" by Ofsted, who prides their students on their Independence, confidence, and belief in their abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach all national curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, Music, and Physical Education.
  • Plan curriculum-aligned lessons and create a safe and motivating classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and implement behaviour expectations.
  • Assess assignments and tests, and communicate with parents and school leaders.
Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking passionate Primary Teachers with expertise in teaching methods, effective communication, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. Candidates must be dedicated to creating ideal learning conditions, safeguarding children, and proficient in office software. Positive, outgoing, and compassionate traits are essential.

Requirements include:

  • An Undergraduate Education Degree or equivalent with QTS.
  • Previous in-school teaching experience.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • The right to work in the UK.

Earn between £135-£240 per day as a primary supply teacher, depending on experience, or be paid to National Scale.
