Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias to join our team at Marshalls PLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all site equipment, machinery, and associated services to a safe and acceptable standard.
- Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance and provide input into improving the system.
- Provide mechanical/electrical support in the event of breakdowns.
- Work and liaise with a range of internal departments and external suppliers.
- Confirm work done into Maintenance Management System (SAP) complete with technical feedback.
- Where necessary, provide input into feasibility studies, Capex, and continuous improvement projects.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, environment, and quality management systems.
- Prioritize workload.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
- Liaise with stores to identify relevant and correct stock items.
- Work within 5s methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard.
- To carry out other tasks as deemed necessary, that are within the job holder's capability.
Requirements:
- Several years' experience of maintenance within a continuous process control industry.
- Completed a relevant recognized apprenticeship and hold relevant electrical and mechanical qualification.
- Enthusiastic and highly self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work efficiently on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and a desire to progress within the manufacturing sector.
- Good level of computer literacy and excellent communication skills.
