Overview of the Role:
Cinnabon is a renowned American bakery brand, celebrated for its unique and delightful sweet offerings crafted from the finest ingredients sourced globally.
As the sole franchise in the UK, we are embarking on an ambitious expansion plan to introduce Cinnabon to more locations across the country. Our newly established Central Kitchen & Distribution Center in Glasgow will serve as the hub for producing all our delectable products before they reach our retail outlets.
We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor, who will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, organization, and management of all manufacturing and maintenance operations. You will be equipped with the necessary resources, facilities, and materials to ensure optimal performance. Your focus will be on delivering Cinnabon products that meet our high standards and specifications.
As a key member of our team, you will become a specialist in Cinnabon products and contribute to ongoing enhancements to align with the company's goals and objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the manufacturing and maintenance processes to maximize cost efficiency.
- Utilize resources, equipment, facilities, and materials effectively to meet production forecasts.
- Achieve production targets and timelines while ensuring product quality that surpasses customer expectations.
- Implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising the company's interests and objectives.
- Foster individual skills and support team development to enhance overall performance.
- Continuously monitor equipment and processes to improve kitchen productivity and develop plans for quality-driven production increases.
- Anticipate workload and staffing needs.
- Identify equipment and resource requirements and forecast future demands.
- Supervise production line rehabilitation and ensure product specification stability.
- Execute tasks assigned by the Area Manager.
- Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor and promote a fun work environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of management experience in food production.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet high demand.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to drive productivity.
Additional Information:
To be considered for this position, candidates must successfully complete a DBS check, which will be funded by EG Group.
