We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Academics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to teachers in the classroom, planning and delivering small group work and one-to-one lessons for children who require additional support.
Key Responsibilities:- Support teachers in the classroom to ensure the delivery of high-quality education
- Plan and deliver small group work and one-to-one lessons to support children who require additional help
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of the classroom
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of classroom resources and materials
- Bachelor's Degree (2:2 or above) in a relevant field
- Strong academic record and a proven track record of improving pupil performance
- Proven experience working with primary children (minimum 3 months)
- Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
- Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police check
- Supportive Senior Leadership Team and regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities
- Full-time, long-term contract for the full academic year
- Competitive daily rate (£85-£90 per day)
