We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at ECS Resource Group, a leading independent communications company. As an IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the IT Support teams in the UK, South Africa, and India.
- Interview and recruit IT professionals to join our team.
- Create and maintain corporate and personal development plans for IT Support teams.
- Conduct staff appraisals, set corporate and personal goals, and ensure ITIL best practices are utilized within IT Support.
- Report on internal IT Support performance and manage IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) and lead IT MSP service reviews.
- Build and manage IT budgets, forecast for growth, and ensure compliance with Data Protection register.
- Create and maintain ISO27001 policies, processes, and guidelines in-line with compliance.
- Act as the primary interface for IT during compliance audits and manage IT escalations.
- Liaise with Project Managers and Solution Designers, attend New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings, and ensure IT policies are adhered to and have auditable evidence.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of O365, Active Directory, and cloud solutions.
- In-depth understanding of applying ITIL best practices to ITSM.
- Excellent team building and motivational skills, 24/7 Service Desk management skills, and excellent knowledge of building and maintaining IT policies and processes.
- Demonstrable track record of Change, Configuration, and Release Management processes, excellent ISO27001 experience, and KPI/SLA/OLA implementation and monitoring.
- Experience of PCI/DSS requirements, utilizing systems to support a secure environment, and requirements for handling security vulnerability breaches.
- Building ServiceNow customer service request and incident portals, building ServiceNow CSM and ITSM workflows, supporting Salesforce, and supporting NetSuite.
- Monitoring systems, such as Logic Monitor, Nectar, and SolarWinds, WAN, LAN technologies, such as Cisco, Meraki, and Juniper, and managing data migration projects.
- ITIL v4 Foundation, Service Manager, and MSCE – Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
