We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Flood Risk Consultant to join our established team of Engineers based in Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies for Residential, Commercial, and Environmental Planning Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3
- Develop Surface Water Management Plans
- Design and implement Drainage Strategies and detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Designs using AutoCAD and Microdrainage
- Lead project management and team mentoring
- Collaborate with clients to discuss project progress
Requirements:
- Strong academic background in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or Environmental Management
- Experience working for a UK-based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microdrainage
- Excellent communication and project management skills
