About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Software Engineer to join our team at Roke Manor Research Limited. As a Cyber Security Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building critical systems that protect and support our National Security partner's missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employ secure coding practices to ensure and maintain quality of software delivery.
  • Understand and integrate with operating systems on a low level.
  • Design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our National Security partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies.

Requirements

  • Experienced in one or more of C, C++ or C#.
  • Familiar with Python.
  • Used to Linux or Windows based operating systems.
  • Knowledge of version control and used to working in agile environments.
  • An understanding of the Cyber domain.
  • Understanding of common software design and testing patterns.
  • Able to build systems and perform continuous integration.
