We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse to join our team in a Band 5 night nurse position. The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric medical specialties and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children and their families throughout their treatment, ensuring patient safety and experience. This will involve day-to-day management of the ward, staff development, performance, and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing children requiring Haemodialysis and other complex medical care, and will be able to demonstrate team management skills that facilitate change and improvement to meet local and Trust objectives.

Key Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in Renal therapies at band 5.
  • Able to plan, implement, and assess family-centered care. Able to provide evidence of active involvement in developing nursing practice.
  • Experience in managing children requiring Haemodialysis and other complex medical care.
