Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant / Data Analyst to join our team at Rachel Hill Resourcing Limited. As a key member of our internal finance team, you will play a vital role in carrying out all aspects of a busy accounts office and daily/monthly reporting as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct product group sales analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze web sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Examine marketing campaign effectiveness and provide insights for improvement.
  • Monitor accounts system for irregularities and take corrective action.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly and weekly reports to sales teams, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as needed to support business objectives.
  • Manage credit control processes to ensure timely payment from customers.
  • Process receipts and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate weekly shipments and prepare packing lists for the stores department.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, with flexible hours to be discussed.
