Principal Communication Systems Engineer

Our client is a leading developer of cutting-edge communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. They are seeking a Principal Communication Systems Engineer to join their dynamic and cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop space architecture concepts, sub-system design, payload design, and risk reduction strategies.
  • Conduct analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, and other quality factors to ensure mission success.
  • Establish system engineering processes for requirements management and traceability.

Requirements:

  1. Master's or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering.
  2. 9+ years of experience in space communications.
  3. Strong background in communication theory and RF concepts.
  4. Experience with FPGA, modern vector processing engines, and satellite-communications standards.
  5. Proficiency in Python and C++.
  6. Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
  7. Ability to manage large projects and work well under pressure.
