About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Finance and Global Loans Associate to join our Real Estate Practice Group within our Finance Department in London. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on complex real estate finance transactions and global loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documentation: You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation for real estate finance transactions and global loans.
  • Strategic Client Advice: You will provide strategic advice to clients on real estate finance transactions and global loans, including identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Client Management: You will manage client expectations and deliver projects efficiently, ensuring high-quality results and excellent client relationships.
  • Business Development: You will contribute to business development efforts, including developing personal business plans and assisting with the implementation of business development strategies.
  • Legal Research: You will conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex real estate finance transactions and global loans.
  • Team Supervision: You will supervise junior team members and manage other transaction parties, including specialist and local teams.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: You must be a qualified lawyer with a strong understanding of the legal framework surrounding real estate finance transactions and global loans.
  • Technical Knowledge: You must have strong technical knowledge of real estate finance transactions and global loans, including experience with drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: You must have intellectual curiosity and versatility, with a desire to continuously acquire, build upon, and share knowledge.
  • Self-Starter: You must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercial Acumen: You must have strong commercial acumen, with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions and advice.
  • Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
