Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Leadership: Develop and implement improvements to the finance function, monitor, maintain and improve financial controls, and prepare monthly management accounts and report to senior management and the directors.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist with budgeting and forecasting, and prepare and analyze data using in-house systems.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee the sales ledger and credit control functions, oversee the purchase ledger function, including review of payment runs, and oversee other general accounting duties.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations, and ensure accurate, timely, and relevant recording, and analysis of financial information.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, and assist with management meetings and other ad-hoc requests from senior management and the directors.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification: Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working in industry
  • Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
