Senior Energy and Emissions Adviser

First Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Energy and Emissions Adviser.

About the Role

This is a senior position in our HSE team, reporting to the Energy & Emissions Manager. The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of our UK Business Units' climate change and energy transition commitments, ensuring alignment with our net-zero commitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive energy transition risks and opportunities into business decisions.
  • Provide input and advice on asset lifecycle energy transition requirements and considerations.
  • Develop and maintain greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions forecasts to inform our net-zero strategy.
  • Support the coordination and determination of GHG emissions forecasts.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree-qualified environmental science or environmental engineering professional with extensive industry experience.
  • Member of a professional body with ongoing CPD and working towards Chartered status.
  • Experience working in a team with oil and gas operating assets, wells, and project developments in an environmentally related role.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
