Position Overview

Job Title: Gas Installation and Maintenance Technician

Compensation: Payment per completed task

We are in search of a certified Gas Technician to become a part of our workforce. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the installation, upkeep, and repair of gas systems and appliances for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including heating units, water heaters, and cooking devices
  • Perform safety evaluations and inspections to guarantee systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical problems, diagnosing and rectifying faults and malfunctions
  • Offer guidance and recommendations to clients regarding the operation and upkeep of gas systems and appliances
  • Maintain precise and current records of all tasks performed
  • Follow health and safety protocols and procedures consistently
  • Foster effective communication with clients and team members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Proficient knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including heating units, water heaters, and cooking devices
  • Required Certifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
  • Must possess a personal vehicle
  • Must have personal tools
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Clear background check
