Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized assistance to SEN students, both in classroom settings and during extracurricular activities.
- Implement customized learning strategies and interventions that cater to the specific needs of each child, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- Assist students in developing essential social skills, emotional management, and coping techniques to thrive in the school environment.
- Work collaboratively with educators, SEN Coordinators, and external specialists to ensure a unified approach to supporting SEN students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels appreciated and empowered to achieve their potential.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, especially those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Empathy, patience, and a true passion for addressing the diverse needs of SEN children.
- Flexibility and resilience to effectively manage challenging situations in a dynamic educational environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to positively impact the lives of vulnerable children.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: £85.00-£95.00 per day
Benefits: Free parking, on-site parking, sick pay
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in education (preferred)
Licensing/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
