Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Skelton, Redcar
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: 33 hours per week
Rate: £11.44 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Skelton, Redcar. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to a lady with learning disabilities, enabling her to live a fulfilling life in her own home and in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the lady with personal care and emotional needs
- Assist with day-to-day activities in the home and community, such as household chores and attending health appointments
- Update support plans and risk assessments to ensure the lady's needs are met
- Administer medication as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but full training will be provided
- Ability to work flexible hours, including sleepovers
- Enhanced Adult and Child DBS application required
