Job Title: Engineering Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Technician to join our team at Aberdeen Airport. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airport assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance work on engineering assets to ensure optimum serviceability and meet agreed service levels.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical, mechanical, and electronic assets associated with the airport.
  • Work with the maintenance team to ensure all maintenance and engineering task records are updated in accordance with regulatory commitments.
  • Operate and promote working practices that ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives within the engineering environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and maintenance team colleagues on the progress of completing work.
  • Participate in task risk assessments and utilize method statements in the completion of all maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
  • Completed a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Building Services discipline.
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of airport assets.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
