Position Summary: We are in search of a seasoned Azure Solutions Architect to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in designing solutions on Azure Cloud platforms and demonstrate strong DevOps capabilities, particularly in CI/CD pipeline development. The Azure Solutions Architect will be instrumental in crafting, executing, and sustaining cloud-based solutions for our Pharmaceutical clientele.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in Azure Cloud platforms at an architectural level.
  • Proficient in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Ability to engage in DevSecOps development activities and tackle complex development challenges.
  • Architectural certifications across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams to identify and implement optimal cloud solutions.
  • Proficient in addressing both Cloud Architecture and Application architecture-related challenges.
  • Experience in planning, designing, and executing on-premises to Azure cloud migration strategies.
  • Deployment and troubleshooting of cloud initiatives following best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the project's comprehensive cloud architecture, including Azure networking, provisioning, and security management.
  • Experience in Azure security protocols and best practices for establishing zero-trust infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture features such as OS, multitenancy, virtualization, orchestration, and elastic scalability.
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting and administering DevOps software, along with building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and configuring Azure resource provisioning.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code, automation, and configuration management tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions for the Pharmaceutical sector.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to ascertain project requirements and ensure the successful deployment of new solutions.
  • Develop and enforce cloud infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards to guarantee security, reliability, and scalability.
  • Engage with external vendors to oversee cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Assess and recommend new cloud technologies and services that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Document cloud infrastructure design, configuration, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to IT staff on cloud-related matters.
  • Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Azure cloud environments, including Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Proficiency in Azure Cloud environments, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Additional certifications in relevant areas such as Azure Security, Azure Networking, or Azure AI/ML.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
