Story Contracting is seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Hiab Driver to join our Service Delivery Hub team. We are committed to providing exceptional service and fostering a positive work environment where individuals can thrive.

As an integral part of our operations, you will play a crucial role in the efficient delivery and collection of plant equipment across various construction sites. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that all regulatory and safety requirements are met at every stage.

Responsibilities:
  • Transporting plant machinery safely and efficiently to designated locations
  • Conducting thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles and reporting any defects
  • Loading and unloading equipment using Hiab crane with precision and care
  • Adhering to all relevant traffic regulations and safety protocols
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV, Driver CPC, and ADR certificates
  • Class 1 and Class 2 driving licenses
  • Hiab operating tickets
  • PTS qualification
  • Load and Secure Certification
  • Experience working in a plant environment
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
