p>At SYNLAB UK, we are seeking a skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing hair sample sectioning, preparing sample batches for analysis, and adhering to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing hair sample sectioning according to Laboratory Management's instructions.
  • Preparing sample batches for analysis.
  • Adhering to Lextox Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and accurately completing laboratory documentation.
  • Performing routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to maintain quality standards.
  • Upholding the confidentiality of the information obtained in the course of analysing samples within the lab, and refrain from disclosing such information without written consent, except where disclosure is required by law or by a court order.


Requirements:
  • Qualified at a Degree level – Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry or a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation and procedures.
  • A strong focus on service and quality with good problem-solving skills.
