Senior Building Surveyor Opportunity

Carrington West's Property & Building Control division is expanding, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in providing expert advice to clients on building surveying services, including design, development, planning, coordination, supervision, and project management of building schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare specifications and contract documents for tendering, providing advice on construction contracts.
  • Prepare building regulation and planning applications, and monitor and deal with authorities as necessary.
  • Assess tenders and provide recommendations to clients through tender analysis.
  • Act as Project Manager on projects, attending site for Pre-Start and Project Meetings.
  • Supervise works on site, ensuring quality standards are met and authorise payments to contractors.
  • Familiarity with computerised administrative, reference, and Building Control management systems.
  • Full knowledge of traditional and modern construction techniques.
