Job Summary:

Pertemps is seeking a skilled Counterbalance and Reach Truck Driver to join our team at a key automotive supplier in Birmingham. As a Counterbalance and Reach Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to transport materials and goods throughout the production plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to transport materials and goods safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers in a safe and organized manner.
  • Stack and organize goods and other items within the production and goods in and out department.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Update the in-house warehouse management system.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months of experience driving a counterbalance and reach truck.
  • Proven track record of safely operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
